Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 心理與諮商學系碩士班 === 99 === This study mainly uses narrative to discuss the changes in my role as a counselor in school and the approaches of guidance while guiding dropouts. The dissertation starts with the reluctant evocation of my own childhood and juvenile experience, which triggers the reflection on the guidance with dropouts. Through examining the projects of guiding dropouts, I reveal and organize the conflicts between imagination and reality. I have encountered many obstacles in my interaction with the three dropout students when I use the traditional counseling frameworks. Therefore, I give up the restricted approach of “guidance in the counseling room only.“ Instead I see myself as an "active counselor” in hopes of better guidance. While making efforts to fight for the welfare of dropouts, I am able to know not only the students but also myself. Through narrative, I introspect my own life experiences and their influence on me. And I hope to achieve my life-long goal of helping people by social practice.
