Firstly, the cadastral map was remade to realize the situations of land division and houses distribution during the Japanese ruling period. From the historical publication, the locations of official buildings, religious buildings and commercial character buildings, the land use map of Ma-kung Castle was reconstructed. Then the historical images, Google Sketch Up 3D graphics software and Geometry-based VR were used to set up the 3D models of buildings in Ma-kung Castle with both purposes which are "real-world virtualization " and "virtual world realization". Finally, the total information was integrated by the Google Earth to construct a human-computer interaction platform. The platform have four characteristics of virtual reality into full play─ interaction, imagination, immersion, and Information intensity to explore the history space of Ma-kung Castle during the Japanese ruling period.
