Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 社會與區域發展學系碩士班 === 99 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the outdoor recreation participation, outdoor recreation activity places and the satisfaction of activity places of students from highly-cared families in Songshan District, Taipei. The leisure constraints and how different background variables would have influences on these aspects were also analyzed. This research collected data by in-depth interview and questionnaire survey, taking 5th and 6th grade students from highly-cared families in Songshan District of Taipei as subjects. The tool used was the 「Questionnaire of Outdoor Recreation Activity Places and Leisure Constraints for Elementary Students in Taipei City」. There were 350 valid samples in total. After the analysis of statistical methods which included descriptive statics, t-test, One-Way ANOVA, and Pearson product-moment correlation, the results of this study were as follows:
1. The participation of outdoor recreation was low; the most frequent activities were sports. The overall participation of outdoor recreation activity places was low, but the satisfaction of activity places was above average. The most fluent activity places were those nearby home; the least fluent ones were the region of sports and leisure. Students had higher satisfaction in the activity places they often stayed. Leisure constraints on the whole were relatively high, the structural constraints to the maximum.
2. Background variables showed significant differences in the outdoor recreation participation, outdoor recreation activity places and the satisfaction of activity places. The differences were summarized as the following:
(1) Girls, high-social status families, new Immigrant children, not low-income families, students who had family income from 3-shift work style and full-time jobs had higher participation frequency and activity place satisfaction .
(2) Boys, low-social status families, students from families with handicapped members had higher leisure constraints.
(3) The types of family didn't make any influences on the outdoor recreation participation, activity place satisfaction and leisure constraints.
3. There were significant correlation among the outdoor recreation participation, outdoor recreation activity places and leisure constraints.
Finally, according to the results of this study, some suggestions were provided for parents, teachers, schools, communities, governments and future researchers as reference.
