Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 幼兒與家庭教育學系碩士班 === 99 === This study explored the elders’ participation in the kindergarten homeland intergenerational activities. The research subjects of this study included 7 elders, 30 young children of the researcher class, the other head teacher and the researcher. The elders and the researcher had worked together to develop and implemented 12 homeland intergenerational activities. During the research period, observation, interviews, documents and field notes were collected as research data. The research findings were as followings: 1.The elders’ had motivation and interests to participate in homeland intergenerational activities. The elders’ age, physical condition, available time, individual will and strength influced the participation. 2. The homeland intergenerational activities were developed according to the elders’ experiences which were beneficial to the teaching. 3. The elders played various roles and actively interacted with children during the homeland intergenerational activities. 4. The participarts’ experiences included: (1) The children had experienced how to develop relationshiwith the elders and learn to show respect to the elders. The intergenerational interactions were improved during and after the teaching activities. (2) The homeland intergenerational activities enriched the participatants’ life, and provided various learning experiencs to young children and the teachers. (3) The participants of this study were willing to continue participating in the homeland intergenerational activities. Key words: elders, intergeneration, homeland education
