Test results shows that (1) plasticity index (PI) of laterite increases gradually as content of nano-clay, kaolinite and bentonite increases;(2) unconfined strength decreases as PI increases, however, for laterite mixed with betonite more than 3%, unconfined strength increases as PI increases;(3) permeability is not related well with PI as shown in unconfined strength.
