From a total of 525 questionnaires given out, 97.14% or 510 effective samples were collected. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The subjects had middle strong scores on knowledge of energy saving and carbon reduction. There were significantly differences of the knowledge of energy saving and carbon reduction on socio-economic, and urban-rural areas. 2. The subjects had middle strong scores on attitude of energy saving and carbon reduction. There were significantly differences of the attitude of energy saving and carbon reduction on gender, grades, and urban-rural areas. 3. The subjects had middle strong scores on the environment sensitivity. 4. The subjects had middle strong scores on self-efficacy of energy saving and carbon reduction. There were significantly differences of the self-efficacy of energy saving and carbon reduction on urban-rural areas. 5. The subjects had middle strong scores on behavioral intension of energy saving and carbon reduction. There were significantly differences of the behavioral intension of energy saving and carbon reduction on gender. 6. The results show knowledge, attitude, self-efficacy, behavioral intension of energy saving and carbon reduction are significantly correlated with environment sensitivity. 7. The subjects’ attitude and self-efficacy of energy saving and carbon reduction, and environment sensitivity could significantly predict their behavioral intension of energy saving and carbon reduction. The explanatory power was 55.2%. Based on the results, suggestions are provided for education of sustainable development and for further studies.
