Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 通訊工程研究所碩士班 === 99 === Nowadays, Wireless mobile Communication industry developed rapidly, more countries offer digital television broadcasting services with video and audio, therefore, DTV signals reception has thus become very attractive for applications in many devices such as lattop computers, tablet PC, PMPs and vehicle electronics, etc. thus, a printed monopole antenna with C-shape frame for digital television signal reception in the 470–862 MHz band is presented.
At first, we propose a C–shape strip to be the internal part of antenna, the length of the monopole antenna are roughly fixed at λ/4 as design rule. In order to enhance the bandwidth considerably, L–shape strips and inversed L–shape strips is used to generate a resonate mode at low and high frequency. The adjacent resonant modes form a wide operating band, and it makes antenna performance could cover all DTV bands (470 – 862 MHz) in 3:1 VSWR bandwidth and GSM–900 bands in 2:1 VSWR bandwidth. In order to improve the impedance of each resonant mode further, we use the same structure of antenna by coplanar–wave–guide (CPW) feed.
