Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 台灣文化研究所碩士班 === 99 === The natural environment and the development of tribes differentiate such districts as Donggang commercial streets, Xin-jie, Nei-guan-di, San-xi-he, Hai-ping, Xia-pu, Da-tan, Chuan-tou, Hou-wen, Shan-wei and Nan-ping. How the lands are utilized and how residents make their living further distinguish these districts as the business, fishery and agriculture areas. Central temples of districts located at different areas indicate the differences in not merely the holding of religious activities, but also the fund-raising and human resources of temples. These differences bring forth various man-land relationships between the central temples and local residents. Due to the geo-relationships and the historical bonds, central temples of each district in Donggang present the difference in the participation and the religious status, which are the main reasons of the stratification in the religious rituals. This phenomenon is made clear not only in the participation but also the stratification of ranks in every district, with Dong-long temple as the center. The cultural nexus of power takes its form in the " Qian-sui-ye " Greeting Fiesta of Donggang. The influences of cultural power decreases outwards from the center. By virtue of the " Qian-sui-ye " Greeting Fiesta held by Dong-long temple, the indoctrination of traditional enlightenment is promulgated, and the Orthodoxy and the legitimacy of rituals can be embodied. These are conducive to the establishment of the authoritative status of Dong-long temple in the folk religions of Donggang.
