Through purposive sampling, the questionnaires retrieved 564 college students. The measure tools used in this study include “Loneliness Scale”, “Social Anxiety Tendency Questionnair”, “Chen Internet Addiction Scale” , “Tung’s Depression Inventory for College Students” and “Metacognitions Questionnaire” . Methods of data analysis are factor analysis, Cronbach’ analysis, descriptive statistics, and structural equation modeling. The main findings are as follows: 1.College students’ negative emotion, maladaptive-metacognition and internet addiction are normal tendency. 2. negative emotion will directly influence metacognition and internet addiction. 3. metacognition has partially meditative effect between negative emotion and internet addiction.
