The sample consists of female high school students from Tainan or Kaohsiung, and have BMI between 18 and 23. The research instrument was attempted to measure self image dissatisfaction, negative eating belief, consent with the social aesthetic standards, and deviant dietary behaviors. A total of 3100 questionnaires were sent and achieved 1348 valid. The kurtosis index is 5.62, meaning data were within the normal distribution. The data were analyzed by ML in AMOS. The results disagreed with self image dissatisfaction as a mediator variable, among negative eating belief, consent with the social aesthetic standards, and deviant dietary behaviors. Other major findings were: 1. Self image dissatisfaction displayed positive influence on deviant dietary behaviors. When female adolescents’ level of self image dissatisfaction was higher, deviant dietary behaviors increased. 2. Consent with the social aesthetic standards had positive influence on deviant dietary behaviors. When female adolescent’ level of consent with the social aesthetic standards was higher, deviant dietary behaviors strengthened. 3. Self image dissatisfaction directly affected deviant dietary behaviors. When female adolescents’ level of self image dissatisfaction becomes higher, it increased the consent with the social aesthetic standards; thus, promoted the deviant dietary behaviors. 4. Negative eating beliefs affected deviant dietary behaviors through consent with the social aesthetic standards. When female adolescents’ level of negative eating beliefs were higher, consent with the social aesthetic standards increased; thus, promoted the deviant dietary behaviors. 5. Self image dissatisfaction affected deviant dietary behaviors through negative eating belief and consent with the social aesthetic standards. When female adolescents’ level of self image dissatisfaction was higher, negative eating belief increased, affecting consent with the social aesthetic standards to strengthen, and eventually promoted deviant dietary behaviors. Finally, based on findings of the study, the researcher recommended some practical strategies for consultation, counseling and future researches. Lee-Fangt Chai 蔡麗芳 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 64 zh-TW
