And also to identify there had significant difference in teachers’ratings on the level of the professional knowledge and competence among different background. Participants of this study were teachers of students with visual impairments in Taiwan. 96 of them returned back the questionnaire.Statistical methods such as Descriptive statistics, One-Way ANOVA, T-test were applied to analyze these questionnaires and reach the following results: 1. There were 8 dimensions and 40 items for orientation and mobility for teachers of students with visual impairments. 2. Accordion to the equipment to bank is : Spatial concepts, Motor skills, Interpersonal skills, Spatial skills, Perceptual skills, Mobility skills, Environmental knowledge, Decision making. 3. There was no significant difference in teachers’ratings on the level of orientation and mobility for teachers of students with visual impairments among different age, professional background , class type and teaching area. 4. There was significant difference in teachers’ratings on the level of orientation and mobility for teachers of students with visual impairments among different gender, degree , years of teaching experience, and whether they have teacher qualifications. Based on the research findings, suggestions regarding orientation and mobility for the teachers of students with visual impairments and further studies were made.
