Woodcraving industry in Sanyi has earned great foreign exchange by “OEM labor” upgrade “Creative Arts”. The subjects based on past research, used qualitative methods, study aimed to national competitive advantage theory (the diamond model) of “Why can the woodcarving industry thrive in Sanyi?” The result is “Factor conditions” “Demand conditions” “Firm strategy, Structure and Rivaly” and “Related and Supporting Industries” interaction each other, “Government” and “Chance” are cofactor in Diamond model, another one of factor of Diamond model shows “stronger” can drive the industrial. Another is “cultural” behinds the Diamond model. Sanyi''s woodcarving development of "dynamic" phenomenon. Other industries can enhance one or more factors that make it a "strong" performance, and the words "culture" into development considerations .
