Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 系統工程研究所產碩專班 === 99 === Any peoples when they have a job to do, they have their own purposes, to response policy, target of company and having their strong desire to remain in the place they have job. It’s very important for the success of Taiwan companies, have a lot of Viet Nam workers. To search about this requirement, the knowledge about motivation and job satisfaction is essential. In this thesis, my purpose is analysis of factors which affect motivation of Viet Nam workers, under consideration of individual characteristics. I wish finding out what factors determine and affect their work motivation, and if and how those motivation can be improved with respect to motivation at work in general. Age, gender, marital status, kind of work (direct and indirect labor) and the years a person has been working in the company represent the individual characteristics examined in this research. The analyses base on the quantitative and qualitative method, as well as a practical survey consisting of questionnaires and personal interviews were carried out in order to reply the purpose above.
Result
Eight factors: skills, task identity, task significance, autonomy, feedback, environment, job security, and finance category were found out are important factors for the motivation of employees. Considerate to the extent of each which these factors are current at work and the state satisfaction of employees, differences regarding all examined individual characteristics are recognizable. Furthermore the analyses of the importance attributed to these factors by the employees discover no differences with regard to the individual characteristics, except for the years an employee has been working in the company. Moreover some of factors, which may cause a higher motivation and job satisfaction in the chose company, have been identified in terms of the individual characteristics. Therefore, with most of employees, the finance category represents the factor with the highest motivation potential.
