碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 早期療育研究所 === 99 === This study investigated the use of「comprehensive report」 of the「center of team evaluation for child’s development」 in Taiwan area, including the planning and implementation of the evaluation, analyzing the outcome, recommend appropriate treatment programs, present comprehensive written reports, and tracking their relevance in the process, the implementation of the team personnel and satisfaction to their own work as well as the opinion after reading the written reports. A survey was mailed to 360 professional working in related teams from 72 centers, and a qualitative data was collected as a focus group interview of 10 written report users. The result indicates the comprehensive written report was limited to the evaluation model and approaches. Mostly professional driven the evaluating process but not put the parents’ participation in concern and few ommunication in between while composing the report. The treatment program afterwards is hardly follow-up by the original evaluation team. In professional’s view, better written form, and more support resources such as equipments are needed. The evaluation procedure, written report delivery, the time consuming issue, and the information needs to be simplified and clear are required based on the users’ response. Recommendations to early intervention services in the future are discussed.
