Researcher attempts to improve students’ drawing attitude that are careless and without thinking deeply, the object of study are researcher’s students. During the program, several kinds of forms, the students’ responses in the class were recorded and analyzed. The findings of the study are as followings: 1. Students’ motive comes from teacher’s encourage and urge Students think passively. Students who are willing to draw creative picture always because their teacher encourages and concerns their behavior. The research indeed make students’ drawing improve greatly, but the researcher find that students’ creativity only show while drawing teacher’s assignment. Beyond assignment, they will just choose what they like to draw and lazy to create a new idea. 2.The strategy of sharing classmates’ works will enhance students’ motive of drawing. Students highly support the behavior of classmates sharing themselves works, an average score reaches 93.4%. Students will have pressure while they know they will share their pictures on stage, then draw more seriously. Students who under stage will have an idol to learn and imitate. 3.The painters’ stories and picture books are helpful for student’s creative ideas The result shows that the stories can inspire students to create an idea an average score of 82.8%. And the teaching of picture books can help students to be bold Changxin score of 82%. it indicates that both painters’ stories and picture books are helpful. Most students change their content of paintings, and they try to use different topic. This is the great different from before. Besides, the type of their drawing also change. And, they color their pictures seriously to make them look good. Furthermore, students now start to search for the type and the materials they want to use on their picture gradually. Abstract
The purpose of this action research is to inspire the lower graders’ creative performance in drawing via painters’ stories and picture books.
