Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 特殊教育學系碩士在職專班 === 99 === To investigate the contribution of reading-related skills to seventh graders with reading difficulties and to develop effective remedial program, 31 students with reading comprehension difficulties and 41 normal readers were assessed on measures of phonological awareness, orthographic processing, morphological awareness, nonverval IQ, and literacy skills.. The results showed that:
1.students with reading comprehension difficulties performed significantly less well than the normal readers in
phonological awareness, orthographic processing, morphological awareness, and literacy measures..
2.phonological awareness, orthographic processing, and morphological awareness were correlated significantly with
character recognition and reading comprehension.
3.morphological awareness explained unique variance in Chinese literacy measures.
