Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 資訊管理系所 === 99 === The main purpose of this study is to explore the personal and environmental Perspectives in the intention to adopt innovative products and technology in teachers’ instruction.This innovative technology, interactive whiteboard product, for example, exploring the relation of innovativeness, Motivation-Hygiene factors, barriers, and teachers’ intention to adopt innovative technology in instruction.
According to the literatures, Innovation Diffusion of Theory (Roger, 1962) and Motivation-Hygiene Theory (Herzberg, 1959), exploring the basic concepts of innovativeness, Motivation -Hygiene factors, barriers, and related researches, as a theoretical basis for this study. By the questionnaire survey through statistical analysis, the study conclusions can be made. The sample refers to elementary school and junior high school teachers in Kaohsiung City, and there are 242 valid questionnaires. The data processed by SEM (Structural Equation Model), AMOS 17.0 including confirmatory factory analysis(CFA), goodness-of-fit index (GFI), and path analysis.
Research tools include "innovativeness", " Motivation and Hygiene factors", "barriers" and "intention to use" scales. The use of statistical methods: descriptive statistics, reliability and validity analysis, T-test, One-way ANOVA, Structural Equation Model(SEM) etc.
After statistical analysis, the findings of the study are as follows:
1. Motivators have the most significant effect on the behavioral intention of using the interactive whiteboard; follow by internal barriers and vicarious innovativeness. Hygiene factors have the least concern.
2. Vicarious innovativeness and motivators of master’s degree and township area teachers have significant effects on the behavioral intention to use the interactive whiteboard.
3. Hygiene factors of the teachers who sometimes use projectors in teaching have significant effects on the behavioral intention to use the interactive whiteboard.
4. The frequency of using projectors and category of innovativeness has significant differences towards the behavioral intention to use the interactive whiteboard.
