碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 社會發展學系 === 99 === This research aims to understand if the citizens in Pingtung take more positive attitude to political affairs. The instrument of the research is the questionnaire which is designed for the citizens in Pingtung who are over 20 years old and join the Chinese martial art association of the people association. In the end, there are 551 copies of the questionnaire are obtained effectively. According to the results, the data is analyzed by Descriptive Statistics Analysis, CR Analysis, Factor Analysis, Independent Test, One-Way ANOVE and Stepwise Regression Analysis. The results are followed. 1. The citizens’ attitude toward political affairs is more positive. With five items about political attitude, the ranks of aggressiveness to political affairs are: the sense of citizens’ duty, the democratic attitude, the sense of political efficacy, the sense of national identity and the sense of political trust. 2. As for the political attitude, the subjects who are over 30 years old, high school or vocational high school, the ruling party preference tended to Kuomintang, take more positive attitude toward political affairs . 3. As for the sense of politics efficacy, the subjects who are high school or vocational high school of degree, the ruling party preference tended to Kuomintang or to Democratic Progress Party, take more positive attitude to political affairs. 4. As for the sense of citizens’ duty, the subjects who are 40-49, 50-59 years old, high school or vocational high school, the ruling party preference tended to Kuomintang, take more positive attitude to political affairs. 5. As for the sense of political trust, the subjects who are 50-59, over 60 years old, the ruling party preference tended to Kuomintang, take more positive attitude to political affairs. 6. As for the democratic attitude, the subjects with the ruling party preference tended to Kuomintang take more positive attitude to political affairs. 7. As for the sense of national identity, the subjects who are female, 40-49, 50-59, or over 60 years old, high school, vocational high school, university or college, the ruling party preference tended to Kuomintang, take more positive attitude to political affairs. 8. From these five items, the citizens in Pingtung present a large scale of difference to the political attitude. 9. The subjects with different sexual, ages, degrees of education, provincials (tribal), the preference of ruling party, the contacting time with the media, have the ability to predict the political attitude. Thus, according to the results and conclusions above, some suggestions are provided to the government, the ruling party, the citizens in Pingtung and the future researches.
