Creativity can also become a therapeutic way to relieve pressure from depression as well as to build internal values. Therefore, if the images floating in the abstract dreams of thinking memories and recording lives can be represented in a concrete way, they could be used as a reflection of realizing experiences in daily life. In this research, the artist uses his feelings and remembered life experiences to represent a situation which recreates or approximates the combination of life and memory. Therefore, in addition to reflecting the truth in life, the study also integrates personal image vocabulary or symbols of the subconsciousness mind. By observing life, we can understand and experience it, while obtaining the enlightenment of art and its reflection of the essence of life. The connotations and forms the researcher uses in the crafting of artistic imagery (including memorized images, the meaning of images and symbols) can be used to look for the core values of creation with artistic spirits of surrealism and the dreams of the subconsciousness mind. This study is divided into four categories. The first category (the Pet series) mainly explores the relationship between the researcher and the pet he/she raised as a child. The second category, the Talking with Birds series, inspires creativity by recording the activities of birds currently being reared by the researcher. In the Freedom series, the third category exercises the power of illusion and of the imagination to express the psychological need to be rid of the constraints of the real world. In the fourth category, the Untruthful Dreamland series, explores the unknown aspects of human nature through the subconsciousness state in dreams. In short, this study hopes to explore good memories in life through artistic creation as well as to turn the spiritual thoughts into the subjects of paintings and other forms of artistic creation. The final aim of the study is to arrive at an integrated conclusion about artistic self-reflection, as well as to foster the development of future creative thoughts and activities.
