Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 體育學系 === 99 === Purpose: The purpose of this study was to construct a portable and expandable data acquisition device for reaction time measurement by using virtual instrumentation. Method: The designed circuit was first simulated by Multisim software and certified with Educational Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Suite (ELVIS II+). A prototype printed circuit board (PCB) was integrated with a data acquisition board (USB- 6009) and finally LabVIEW was used to build human machine interface (HMI). The device was tested by a 100MHz scope and function generator (ELVIS II+) before the experiment. Two experiments were also executed for testing the device. The first experiment was to measure TRT by pressing a button with a finger after sound and light stimuli. The pre-motor reaction time (PRT) and motor reaction time (MRT) for grip movement after sound and light stimuli were measured with EMG in the other experiment. 36 subjects were chosen randomly from department of physical education of NPUE. Results: The device was constructed and tested under different situation successfully. Conclusion: The result showed the device is able to measure RT-related parameters accurately and rapidly. It can also combine with other sensors for measuring other parameters of kinesiology and applied to further research.
