The research was targeted at representative and respected domestic referees, such as senior soccer referees, referees-in-chief, and referee assessors. Through the arrangement of individual interviews, the research was methodologically based on analytic induction. Furthermore, the data were collected through various investigation instruments, including a self-reflective journal, interview-observation records, and interview content inspection forms. The feedbacks from the research objects were examined through triangulation and analytic induction to reinforce the authenticity and efficacy of the research outcomes. The major conclusions of the research are listed in the following: 1. Judgment practice for domestic soccer referees: excellent self-positioning of the referee’s role, low estimation on game-rule understanding among the staff from the participating teams, inaccurate mindset during judgment practices, the myth of jurisdiction, and the defects in administrative execution and game security. 2. Factor analysis on potential injustice expressed by domestic referees: the lack of physical fitness, insufficient capacity in refereeing soccer games, differentiations in the criteria of judgment practice, lack of practical refereeing experience, inadequate acknowledgement of game rules and spirits, lack of team work, deficiency of concentration during judgment practices, and failure in the adjustment of mindset during an erroneous judgment practice. 3. Factor analysis on frequently-encountered erroneous judgment practices: erroneous judgment practices frequently encountered in domestic soccer games include: mal-judgment on whether off-side interferes with the game, misjudgment on a fake-fall or fake-injury, ill-timing for the execution of advantage clauses, employing different criteria in issuing red and yellow cards, employing different criteria in and out of the penalty area, misjudgment on hand ball, and inappropriate standing-position during judgment practices. 4. Analysis on the differentiations and characteristics of domestic male and female soccer referees in judgment practices: distinctions in physical performance resulting from biological gender differences, the influence of gender on judgment practices, deficient resistance against pressure, depiction of characteristics on judgment practices, adequacy of refereeing arrangement, lack of practical experiences in judgment practices. 5. The influences of soccer referee career on domestic referees’ personal life: the impacts of potential job uncertainty on their judgment practice, the self-recognition and social-respectability yielded by the job, being able to enjoy the game directly on the game-field, the joy and glory elicited from triggering interest, and the referees’ personal life exerting certain impacts on their refereeing practice. 6. The cultivation of domestic soccer referees: the inevitable trend of cultivating younger soccer referees, the deficiency in the re-training system in cultivating domestic referees, the shortage of research and training budget, the lack of certified instructors, the need to improve referee-cultivating mechanism, inadequacy in referee-cultivating planning, and absence of heritage inheritance. Lastly, based on the research outcomes, the researcher proposed suggestions for domestic referee cultivation, so as to provide references for researchers working on soccer development and referee-cultivation consultation and practice in the future. none 林琮智 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 136 zh-TW |
