In addition, this study was analyzed and discussed from the content of information literacy: network knowledge, attitude and behavior of information usage, information security, internet law and information ethics. This study used the questionnaire method. The researchers took “self-made fifth and sixth grade students’ information literacy questionnaire” as the measurement tools. The questionnaire was administered to 574 students among 7 elementary schools, 24 classes. There were 572 response samples and 565 valid samples. In this survey, there were 207 gifted students and 358 general students. The data was processed by the way of “relative frequency distribution, chi-square test/chi-square goodness-of-fit test, t test, pearson product-moment correlation, one way ANOVA.” The conclusions of this study were described as follows. 1.In general, students’ information literacy performed above middle level. In addition, gifted students performed significantly better than general students. 2.There was a significant difference between different gifted and general students’ genders regarding information literacy. Male gifted students were prior to male and female general students. Female gifted students were prior to male and female general students. 3.Regarding information literacy, there was a significant difference for different grades. Sixth grade gifted students performed poorer than fifth grade gifted students. However, sixth grade general students did better than fifth grade general students. 4.There was a significant difference of information literacy between gifted and general students for different online learning experience. 5.There was a significant difference of information literacy between gifted and general students for different internet usage time weekly. 6.Regarding accessing internet purpose, gifted students who aimed to search information and learn online had better information literacy than gifted students who aimed to play game. Moreover, they performed significantly higher than general students who aimed to play game and date online. 7.Whether gifted students had web account or not, they had better information literacy than general students. 8.Gifted students in high, medium and low socioeconomic status had better information literacy than the general students. 9.Gifted students of two-parent families had better information literacy than general students of two-parent or single-parent families. 10.There was a significant information literacy difference between gifted and general students if their parents who had different accessing internet ability. 11.Gifted students who had their own computer had better information literacy than general students who had their own computer. 12.There was a significant information literacy difference between gifted and general students who had different family support.
