Furthermore, with the regulation that AP Chinese Language and Culture Exam asks students to keyboard to answer Free Response (writing), experts predict it will make a change on learning Chinese. What we can expect is that Chinese keyboarding capability not only the important skill for school work and examination but also for career and interpersonal communication. The maim objective of this study is to design a practicable keyboarding curriculum to help foreign students to make use of Chinese extensively; moreover, to have the positive impact on seeking ideal career in the future and to keep continuing learning on Chinese websites. The procedures of this research start from information collecting and related theories reviewing. At the same time, to have a survey of the grade 7 and 8 Thai students on their keyboarding class to see their opinions and expectations. Then develop the Chinese keyboarding curriculum according to both of the information. The curriculum plan then be undergone a feasibility study by Chinese teachers in Taiwan and Thailand, and be revised base on their feedback. According to the study, the research found that systematize is the most important idea when developing curriculum, designer should hold the attitude of “bottom-up”. Besides, interactive learning appeals to learners more, so it is also important to adopt appropriate media and software for practicing. As for teaching tactic, choosing issues that meet learners’ experiences in their daily lives with authentic materials as assigned works makes better performances. Making enough time for students to practice is also a key point in acquiring this skill. For the part of assessment, portfolio assessment is more valued than written test. The outcome of every productive exercise for each stage can be seen as the assessment. It is believed that continuing to combine keyboarding capability with lessons and additional practice tasks helps learner to master spatial memory of the keyboard more and more, and even change the learning habit to get used to learning Chinese by keyboarding in the long run.
