Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 輔導與諮商研究所 === 99 === The aim of this study is to analyze and understand the current situation, differences, connection and prediction about the background variable, discussion on sex with peers, sex knowledge and sex attitudes of the elementary school senior students in Tainan City. Through survey- questionnaire method, this study collected research data based on the questionnaires formulated by researcher. This study targeted on 835 elementary school senior students in Tainan City and collected 752 valid samples. The SPSS for Windows 12.0 statistics was used to analyze the data and conduct Descriptive Statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product- moment correlation and stepwise multiple regression s. The results of this study are as following: 1.The elementary school senior students who tend to willingly discuss the topics related to “sex” with peers are not very positive. 2.The elementary school senior students are significantly lack of sex knowledge but positive sex attitude. 3.The elementary school male senior students, those who do not take sex education courses, those who believed that the school does not provide adequate sex education program, and those are classified into the “small group” type student. These students have greater tendency toward discussion on “sex” topics with peers. 4.The elementary school female senior students have better sex knowledge. 5.The elementary school female senior students, those who believe that the school provides adequate sex education program, and those are classified into “small group” and “follower” types of students. These students have more positive sex attitude. 6.The elementary school senior students who do not tend to discuss “sex” topics with peers have more positive attitude toward sex stereotyping. 7.The elementary school senior students who tend to highly willingly discuss sex topics with peers have better physiologic growth knowledge and general sex knowledge. 8.The elementary school senior students who tend to highly willingly discuss “sex” topics with peers are more negative toward relationship, sex stereotyping and general sex attitude. 9.The higher sex knowledge of the elementary school senior students is associated with more positive sex attitude. 10.The gender of the elementary school senior students is the most important factor to predict sex knowledge. The solitary of peer type student is the most important factor to predict sex attitude.
