Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 人力與知識管理研究所 === 99 === To understand the SERVICE-LEARNER’s motivation and intrinsic, this study aimed to explore the Experiential Learning Courses of training effectiveness and learning result adopted in a Service Learning Team.
This study adopted the quasi-experimental “One Group Pretest-Posttest Design” of questionnaire survey by submitting 55 students who were from Kaohsiung Game-Show Production Association and Taiwan World Youth Volunteer Association hosted for 2010 Taiwan’s Cultural Mission of the International Youth Volunteer service. By testing the Experiential Learning course through SERVICE-LEARNING team, it can bring the learning effectiveness and the views of the programs.Qualitative Research and Quantitative Research both ways were used to collect experience feedback survey and Questionnaire survey.
The results are showed as follows:
1. Service learners truly understand and emphasis the experiential learning, which efficiently promote the energy of service learning team and improve the learner readiness for service learning activities, particularly to promote the growth of self-service learners though reflection of experience learning.
2. Experiential learning enhance the benefits of collaboration、reciprocity、and social justice focus for the service learning team.
3. Experiential learning certainly help to improve those aspects of significant differences in duration and intensity, link to curriculum, partnerships, meaningful service, reflection, and progress monitoring.
Based on the results, experiential learning can indeed effectively enhance service learner’s positive effects. This study has made recommendations for future research, service learning as a reference implementation of curriculum planning.
