Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 99 === In this study, the relationships between perception of positive parental discipline, emotional intelligence, and life adjustment of senior elementary school students are investigated. The study uses questionnaire survey to implement data collection. The subjects are fifth and sixth graders at elementary schools in Kaohsiung, and the valid samples are 764 students. The research tools are “the perceptional scale of positive parental discipline,” “the emotional intelligence scale of elementary school students,” and “the scale of life adjustment.” The results of survey are analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. The analyzed results are summarized as follows: 1. “The senior elementary school students’ perception of positive parental discipline” is higher than the median. 2. “The emotional intelligence of senior elementary school students” is higher than the median. 3. “The life adjustment of senior elementary school students” is higher than the median. 4. Various grades and various orders of births show obvious perceptional differences of positive parental discipline. However, various genders and family types don’t exhibit significant perceptional differences of positive parental discipline. 5. Various genders and various orders of births show obvious differences of emotional intelligence. On the contrary, various grades and family types don’t exhibit significant differences of emotional intelligence. 6. Various genders, orders of births, and family types exhibit obvious differences of life adjustment. However, various grades don’t exhibit significant differences of life adjustment. 7. The elementary school students’ perception of positive parental discipline shows obvious positive correlation with the emotional intelligence. In particular, the “positive supporting atmosphere” perception of positive parental discipline shows high relationship with the “self encouragement” of emotional intelligence. 8. The elementary school students’ perception of positive parental discipline shows obvious positive correlation with life adjustment. In particular, the aspect of “positive supporting atmosphere” exhibits high relationship with the “family adjustment”. 9. The elementary school students’ emotional intelligence shows significant positive correlation with the life adjustment. In particular, the aspect of “the emotional knowledge of other persons” exhibits high relationship with the “personal adjustment.” 10. The elementary school students’ perception of positive parental discipline anticipates the ability of life adjustment effectively. Among overall aspects, “positive supporting atmosphere” aspect anticipates the “family adjustment” effectively. 11. The elementary school students’ emotional intelligence anticipates the ability of life adjustment effectively. Among overall aspects, “the emotional knowledge of other persons” aspect anticipates the “personal adjustment” effectively.
