Two chaotic and hyperchaotic systems with equal or different dimensions are chosen to be the master and slave systems in the case study. Furthermore, we discuss the adaptive generalized Q-S cascade synchronization, which combines Q-S synchronization, cascade synchronization, and the adaptive control theory. This synchronization is applied to Rössler system and the four-scroll hyperchaotic system, in our second case study.
