(4-methyl-2,6-dinitro-p-cresol), We also discuss the influences on how the variables, like the early PH value, the speed of the airflow, the amount of the UV tubes, the quantity of the TiO2 and so on, respond to the reaction.
The experimental results can be concluded as follows:
(1)It is feasible to process DNPC by using photocatalytic degradation.
(2)The influence of DNPC concentration in degradation is a zeroth order
reacation
(3)The initial pH value is not important to the reaction,and it is a zeroth order in
dynamics.
If initial pH is 5.2,the pH value became 6 after reaction;
If initial pH is 6.0,the pH value became 7 after reaction;
If initial pH is 7.8,the pH value became 9 after reaction;
The best initial pH value is 6.
(4)The speed of airflow(0~1 liter/min) is inversely proportional to the reaction,kobs is less with higher speed of airflow.The optimized speed of airflow is 0.25 liter/min.
(5).When TiO2 (0~1.5gram/0.2 liter)increases, its kobs is increased first then
reduced. The best dosage is 1.2 gram /0.2 liter.
(6).The result is better with more irradiating tubes.
(7)When the processing concentration of DNPC is 1.8×10-4M,the optimizes
condition is as described below;pH=6; Room temperature;speed of
airflow=0.25liter /min;UV of solar lamp tube=12 ; TiO2=1.2 gram/0.2 liter 。
