Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 機械與自動化工程研究所 === 99 === The aim of this study is to construct the wind power system with twisted vertical axis blades on trucks. Nowadays, the shortage of fossil fuels consuming on vehicles are in an emergent situation. Moreover, the CO2 emissions from transportations make a strong negatively impact on our environment. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the renewed energy for transportations. This study adopts the viewpoint of recycled wind energy to develop a wind power system on vehicles. The designed model was based on the method of documentation as a support, TRIZ theory, and the theory of wind turbine aerodynamics. Then, an integration of a gearing, the generator, and a charge controller were carried out in a moving vehicle which could convert the wind power into electrical energy for storing and utilizing. This study adopts the CFD simulation software of ANSYS CFX to analyze the flow field of a trunk and the dynamic status of the wind turbine in different situations of simulations. The result shows that the wind power system of vehicles could achieve the generating capacity of 300 Watts. Besides, the result from the simulation as evidence to support the most appropriate installation position is the front roof of the truck which could achieve the better electrical efficiency in this research.
