The proposed converter combines the flyback converter, voltage double rectifier and clamp circuit. By utilizing the coupled inductor turns ratio and a voltage double rectifier circuit, a high voltage gain is obtained. The interleaved PWM scheme can reduce the current stress of each power switch and also reduce the input current ripple, which leads to reduced conduction losses. In addition, the proposed converter functions as an active clamp circuit, so that the energy of the leakage inductance can be recycled to the output. Because the energy of the leakage inductance is recycled, the voltage spikes on the power switches are suppressed and the efficiency is improved. Moreover, both power MOSFETs in this scheme have voltage-clamped properties and their voltage stresses are smaller than the output voltage. Thus, it can be select low-voltage main power switches. Finally, the prototype circuit with 40~48 V input voltage, 380 V output voltage, and 1000 W output power was implemented for solar power system to verify its performance.
