Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 資訊管理研究所 === 99 === In Taiwan, the Stone industry is almost composed of SME (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises), which are usually controlled by family firms. That implies their business administration strategies are prone to be conservative. Therefore, they have not paid much attention on employing the information technology to help the administrative work for future development or long term planning. Now, as the signing of ECFA (Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement) is in progress, these enterprises are anxious about their survivals when facing the market opening competition. Even there is a ten-year buffer period; it becomes a critical issue to establish an active strategic planning platform for their survival. In this paper, we intend to use the Google Fusion Tables functionalities to establish a cloud-based platform to help our industries conduct some horizontal and vertical cooperation and develop some procurement-and-sales data analysis in the stone industry. We believe the analysis of these data can help generate information that helps managers make appropriate decision for facing the impact of ECFA.
