The conveyor-belt assembly lines adopted by Henry Ford as well as the Toyota Product System(TPS) in present time are typical examples. Nevertheless, accompanied with the advancement of the information technology, all production systems in the manufacturing mills turned to rely on it more day after day. The usability of the informational system therefore significantly influenced the overall production efficiency in those modern factories. The substantial operation of the informational system is inherently and exceedingly associated with its operators, in another word, the human himself. Hence, this study on the production management of the industrial units will adopt an innovative thinking of ergonomics different from previous perspectives as the main theme of the improvement on overall production process. A case study on the human-computing interface of the Scale-tag Production Management System Process regarding its improvements is adopted. Further, based on corresponding literatures, users’survey and together with the system prototyping development approach in order to develop a prototype interface for the new system, the study aims to stimulate new ideas and perspectives from the users. By so doing, the users’ satisfaction of the new system has been modified and promoted. Finally, through experiments on all designs and verified by chi-square test, assessment is conducted to see whether there is any significant differentiation between existing system and innovated one. Results concluded from experiments revealed the new system is more superior in the following five dimensions: accessibility, operating efficiency, mnemonics, error rate and satisfaction. As system designers improve production management related systems in the future, if they may follow all associated principles of the ergonomics to program corresponding interfaces, it is highly possible to acquire positive consequences that promoting the effectiveness of the overall systematic process of its company accordingly. Subsequently, it will also establish a more effective and more efficient production management process. kuo-Wei Su 蘇國瑋 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 109 zh-TW |
