Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 風險管理與保險研究所 === 99 === Consumers usually come to aware how insufficient is their original life insurance scheme only after an accident has happened. Therefore, in-depth exploration and analysis of the policyholders’ motivation and decision-making process at the time of insuring is very important for life insurance professionals when they advise consumers on the sum of insurance in the future. A random sample was taken from policyholders in Pingtung of N Insurance Company for conducting questionnaire survey. Regression analysis was done on such variables as age, number of children, number of dependents, personal annual income, mortgage amount, gender, etc., in order to understand their correlation with the policyholders’ sum insured. Empirical analysis found that policyholders’ age, personal annual income, mortgage amount and gender are the major factors affecting policyholders’ decision of the sum insured.
