The number of people learning Japanese is increasing each year. 21st century advances in technology take us beyond the traditional classroom setting. Television, computers, multimedia, and learning channels have diversified education opportunities. The National Open University and the Open University were established with the objective of lifelong learning and job training for students. Admission is open to students 18 years old and above. Credits are awarded in areas where study has been completed. Students are taught via multimedia, and as a result learning is not confined to a single site location.This better suites the individual''s schedule.
The use of remote media as a language teaching tool has been a method used in Taiwan for a very long time, but there is not much research on its success. This paper uses information from the comparative analysis of all Japanese courses at the Open University, from the years 1997-2009. The analysis includes research of the project department, course design, teachers, and skills training objectives. Learn Japanese Kaohsiung space program planning and large current problems facing: in addition, the theory also discuss with the general University of differences, and look forward to from the university than when compared with the general, to understand the two sides commenced and Course Scheduling Guidelines. As a result of the last study, specific recommendations were made and an attempt to develop future policy
commenced for the Open University of Kaohsiung City Japanese program. These recommendations were made based upon class reference, Japanese course proposals and related areas.
There are five chapters in this paper. The first chapter includes the introduction and explains the motive, objectives, methods and scope of the study. The second chapter discusses the design of distance learning and curriculum theories and compares both Open Universities as established by the subjects of the study in Taiwan. The third chapter explains the characteristics of Kaohsiung major teaching which included all Japanese programs from the year of 1997-2009. The study also includes research on course design and Japanese teachers. Chapter four is an analysis of questionnaires gathered from Open University Japanese language teachers and students. The fifth chapter concludes with a summary of the results of the study. the hope of providing the next big air of Kaohsiung. and the hope that the departments of foreign languages and literature and Japanese language courses will be open to future proposals and recommendations.
