In addition, this study conducted semi-structured interviews to collect research data from four elementary schools located in the Nantou County.
The major research findings include: (1) community resources most commonly used by school teachers are human resources provided by parents.; (2) community resources most commonly used by administrative personnel are human and financial resources; (3) school teachers’ utilization of community resources is significantly influenced by “internal factors;” (4) administrative personnel’s utilization of community resources is highly influenced by “external (community) factors;” (5) strategies for exploring community resources adopted by school have mediating influence.
