Summary: | 碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 人資處音樂教學碩士班 === 99 === This study aims at exploring the effects of applying TV advertising music upon the instruction on the upper-grade students of the elementary school. In addition, this research also focuses on the exploration, observation, and discussion of the sixth grade students’ learning effects on their music creation while instructor implementing TV advertising music teaching at courses. Based on the life experience of children on TV advertising music, the researcher blended the materials of TV advertising music into the curriculum of music creation. She designed the teaching curriculum on music creation which were suitable for teaching students, investigating their learning conditions and collecting their creative works.
The research activity are implemented on 32 elementary school students in Hsin-Chu City. The researcher is the actual teacher during the study process, and the teaching and research team was composed of the researcher, the homeroom teacher, assistant teachers in the school, experts and scholars from related fields. Except gathering relevant documents and materials in advance, in the teaching process, the researcher used teaching log, students and collaborative researchers’ interview record and students’ worksheets as the main sources of data collection, and also taking recommendations from experts and scholars into account, analyzed and generalized the result as follows:
First, while applying TV advertising music upon the instruction on the upper-grade students of the elementary school, the students then easily take reference on TV advertising music and connecting to their life experience to complete music creation works.
1. Students’ music creation performs original skills on various aspects.
2. Connecting to the life experience of the students can excite their potential in music creation.
Second, TV advertising music applied on the music creation instruction of the Senior in the elementary school has benefits in teaching.
1. It raises students ability in music creation.
2. It makes students take more interest in learning music creation.
Third, with action research to solve the encountered problems while applying TV advertising music on the music creation instruction of the Senior in the elementary School.
Last, according to the conclusions above, propose specific recommendations to teachers, school administrative staff, competent authority of education and future research directions for reference separately.
