Summary: | 碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 人資處教育行政碩士專班 === 99 === This research aims to explore the correlation among principal positive leadership, group affective tone and organizational innovation capability in the elementary schools. Firstly, the study probed into the contexts, the theories, and the relative research with regard to the principal positive leadership, group affective tone and organizational innovation capability. Secondly, the study constructed the process of the principal positive leadership, the contexts of the group affective tone, and the process of the organizational innovation capability. The questionnaires were given to a random sample of 1000 primary school teachers across Taiwan areas. A total of 639 questionnaires were valid.
Our results were determined and analyzed by using external literature, descriptive statistics, the t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, stepwise multiple regression analysis and SEM.
We found:
(1) The implementation status of effectiveness of principal positive leadership in the elementary schools reach the high level.
(2) The implementation status of effectiveness of positive group affective tone in the elementary schools are quite sound.
(3) The implementation status of effectiveness of organizational innovation capability in the elementary schools reach the medium level.
(4) Principal positive leadership was found to be influenced differently by academic qualification, annual salary, position, school district, school size, and school history in the elementary school.
(5) Positive group affective tone was found to be influenced differently by school size, negative group affective tone was found to be influenced differently by gender, position, and school size.
(6) Organizational innovation capability was found to be influenced differently by position, school size, and school history in the elementary school.
(7) There are medium-positive correlations among principal positive leadership and positive group affective tone , there are low-negative correlations among principal positive leadership and negative group affective tone .
(8) There are medium-positive correlations among principal positive leadership and organizational innovation capability.
(9) There are significantly positive correlations among principal positive leadership and organizational innovation capability , there are low-negative correlations among negative group affective tone and organizational innovation capability.
(10) Positive group affective tone and developing positive meaning have high predicability to effectiveness of the whole organizational innovation
capability.
(11) It is mutually influential between principal positive leadership and group affective tone to organizational innovation capability. Group affective tone has the partial mediating effect between principal positive leadership and organizational innovation capability.
According to the above conclusions, the researcher will provide some suggestions for schools, principal and researchers in the future.
