This study intends to collect the "keywords" and "abstract" form the entire sample of 964 articles in 4 primary EC journals, to establish professional terms of EC, and to divide EC development into three phases: the Internet initial, technical growth, and application extension. For exploring the significant and potential EC issues, this study analyzes and compares the differences between international and domestic sources. The findings of this study are to focus on three points. First, KeyGraph as a computing process and a visualization tool is an effective method for exploring future research topics. Second, the international EC issues have different thematic characteristics at different phases and they are more diverse and extensive than domestic topics. Third, the source of professional thesaurus is really helpful in identifying EC research issues. Therefore, scholars should pay more attention to research issues from international journals, to serve as their academic study in the light of the EC. Liang-Chu Chen 陳良駒 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 50 zh-TW
