In this paper , we use the principle of geometrical optics to design a naked-eye 3D image display system and a Fresnel lens that used in concentration photovoltaic . For a naked-eye 3D display , we design a plano-convex lens and a dou-ble-convex lens structure . In the structural design of the lens , the double convex lens is the convenient to fabricate , and it is suitable for use in large outdoor billboards. In the process of plano-convex lens design , first we set Black Matrix be 0 , the results of the crosstalk up to 13.5% because of the sub-pixel is too close together. Then we modify the Black Matrix from 0 to 70% of the sub-pixel size(0.0685*0.2055mm), the crosstalk value can reduce to 0 . From this simulation process , we can reach the optimal design of 3D-Lenticular lens by analyzing the optical parameters . Another case in this study is to design a Fresnel lens , we use the theory of geometric optics to derivative an equation of aspheric lens . When the light pass through the aspheric lens , the large area of parallel light can be focused on a small area uniformly . In order to concentrate the large area parallel light on a small solar cell uniformly , the concept of aspheric lens is used to modify it . In practical application , the efficient optical system with less lens compo-nents is necessary . Generally , the optical simulation software to design Fresnel lens is following the equation of aspheric lens . Under the restriction of boundary conditions , we can use optical simulation to design the optimal curve of aspherical lens and achieve a Fresnel lens . The Fresnel lens is effective to reduce the thickness of the current as-pherical lens . The uniformity of light focus on small area can be controlled easily by using the method of optical simulation .
