How companies apply information technology effectively and enhance competitive advantage, it has become an important issue to face. In order to enhance their competitiveness, they usually introduce the Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP) that help them to improve business processes, and through Business Process Reengineering (BRP), e-business, and the improved processes to obtain the maximum benefit. Before the introduction of e-business applications, how can they make a diagnosis effectively for the business processes and find out some problem to identify inappropriate or problematic processes? This is the most important thing that related to overall operating performance and profitability. This study will examine the company’s e-business processes before the introduction of e-business applications, and assess the performance of e-business processes after the introduction. This study use the Fishbone Diagram and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to make a diagnosis for the business process, it can help to identify inappropriate or problematic processes; and the performance of e-business processes that be assessed by Return On Investment (ROI) method, it can help us to know the improvement of the performance as expected. This two-stage framework provides companies the information and concepts about the introduction of e-business applications system, and master in decisions in today's dynamic competitive environment.
