Summary: | 碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 課程設計與潛能開發學系 === 99 === This study aims to study for the good tactics of class management: A dialog between mesozoic teacher and superior experienced teacher, emphasizing on inheritance and rumination. Taken a view from “the problems faced by teachers are provided some suggestions and strategies by superior experienced teacher through a dialog between mesozoic teacher and superior experienced teacher. Through the interview with the teachers, we can discover what bothers them and derive wisdom from others’ expereinces to enhance the ability to cope with the problems. Moreover, researcher can ruminate my own practical expereinces and renew the ideas and strategies of class management. The objective goals of this research are as follows:
1.To investigate the troubles and problems which are faced by middle school homeroom teachers.
2.To pass on the ideas of class management and the practical skills from superior experienced teacher.
3.To ruminate the ideas and the strategies of the class manngement of the researcher.
4.To provide some examples and suggestions for the authorities and other educators.
There are two main interviewees in this resaerch. One is Haung Wei-Cheng, the superior experienced teacher, who has retired from school after twenty-eight years and the others are ten teachers who are still teaching in school. Their teaching years are ranged from two years to seventeen years. The researcher found out that the teachers who has been teaching less than five years felt quite helpless about the class management. However, the teachers who have been teaching for more than six years, are more likely to propose some of the previous ways they have carried out in class management; furthermore, to see where the crux of the problem is with a hope of finding out a better strategy.
Based on the purpose of this study, the reseacher by the way of the interview, analyzed datum from the teachers come to conclusions as below:
1.After sharing and suggestions from the superior experienced teacher, all of them can be put in five perspectives: setting up and enforcement of classroom manners, having more interaction between the teacher and the student, enhancing the atmosphere to study and the efficiency to learn, counseling the students with disabilities or behavior deviation. and improving the relationship between the teacher and student.
2.After ruminating my own ideas and strategy of class management, there are six points gained: homeroom teachers are not to control the students but to do the job of “ Leading to” and “Guiding to”. If you think that is a job that a teacher should, then, you have to stick to what should be insisted. Reflection, respect , care , and gratitude from a student are much to do with home education and it’s not easy to change them. It takes time. So, theories can broden the harizon of the educators and can be the bases of the thoughts by having a habit of writing down events in classes, having a card up his or her sleeve; also, learning some experiences from expereinced teachers.
This research would base on its results to make suggestions:
1.Education program could be included in more seminars from expereinced teachers.
2.The issue of reeducating the parents, the authorities should be involved in it and even can enact legislation.
3.The administrative staff should enhance the professional knowledge in class management so that they can assit the teachers in the proper time.
4.As a the first line class manager, he or she should check the advantages and disavantages of the strategy and continually study in related fields.
