Summary: | 碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 國際企業學系 === 99 === This study aims to examine the influence of competitor identification on the likelihood of patent litigation. We use A-M-C framework which isfrom the competitive dynamics to analyze theinfluences of related factors in the competitor identification process.
We collected the TFT LCD panel manufacturers related data from 2004 to 2010 as our study sample, and test the relationship between these variables with binary-logistic regression analysis. Findings of this study indicated there are positive influences of the motivation to the likelihood of patent litigation by the rising of the firms’ competitive cognition; the motivation will modulate the effect between parts factors which related the capability to the likelihood of litigation: the cited times of the firm has positive modulated the influence between the specific area patent numbers and similarity of firms production line structure to the likelihood of patent litigation; related sales has negative modulated the influence between the specific area physical resources to the likelihood of litigation.
