Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 企業管理學系 === 99 === Positive psychological capital is state-like and therefore open to develop by professional training. First of all, this study explored different effects of training methods on positive psychological capital enhancement. Secondly, openness to experience and motivation to learn were employed to test the potential moderating effects within the above relationships. This study employed a 2(training methods: adventure learning, lecture) x2(motivation to learn: high, low) x2(openness to experience: high, low) factorial between subject design. Our research showed that adventure learning enhanced learning effects better than lecture in class. The effect has no obvious differences between highly motivated learners and highly or lowly opened to experience learners. If a learner is, however, lowly motivated, he or she would benefit more from the training. Business should design the most suitable training programs according to employees’ characteristics in different needs, and bring the program into trainees’ workplaces in order to be effectively applied. Finally, the business can set up some virtual incentive systems to encourage learners while being trained.
