The aim of this study is to investigate the journey of exploring children play by preschooler thorough the play led by the teacher. The main purpose of this study has three major sections as following below:
1. Define the education value and the meaning of the relationship between the play and child drama in the kindergarten.
2. The change of the interaction and cooperate learning between the preschooler through the play and child drama led by the teacher.
3. Discover the journey of exploring the child drama by preschooler through play in the kindergarten.
This study adopts the method of case study, the objects are 27 senior class students from 5 years to 6 years old in the public kindergarten. We would have a play within the teaching for 30 to 40 minutes every time and recording during the activities in the same time, then survey and analyze the result after teaching.
After the data gathering, interview and literature discussion, we make certain conclusions of this study by giving a child drama through play as following below:
1. Preschooler concentrate on the activities more efficiently and learning related knowledge and skills naturally.
2. Preschooler have more actions of exploring things voluntarily and seeking the problem then trying to find the solution during the activities.
3. The interaction becomes more harmonious and colorful between the teacher, preschooler and their classmates. Within the discussion, early children are more actively joining the conversation and giving more specific facts in narrating dialogues.
4. Preschooler would learn and grow in each activities and help their classmates who are in trouble. Even if they encounter barriers, they would help each other and find the answer together.
The investigator bring up several suggestions based on the conclusions of this study as references for teachers and researcher who are interesting in the topic of " giving a child drama through play led by the teacher."
