The purposes of this study are as follows: I. To explore the change process of the pupils’ interpersonal relationship in the class in this action research that utilized integrated activity learning field to do the action plan. II. To explore the encountered difficulties in the process of implementation of the action plan, and the coping strategies. Conclusions of this study can be separated in two aspects as follows: I. Students’ interpersonal relationship change process 1. Students found more good points of themselves. 2. Students had wide range of interests, but their expertise needed to be trained and developed. 3. They could clearly identify the feelings when getting along with the classmates, but their communication skills needed to be strengthened. 4. They were willing to participate in community service and share what they had learned from service. II. The encountered difficulties in the process of implementation and the coping strategies: 1. The researcher’s grasp of time was not precise. 2. The contingency or emergency should be handled effectively. 3. The children preferred the units and activities of helping others. The study provided six suggestions as follows: 1. When designing interpersonal relationship plan, picture books with subject matter related to interpersonal relationship can be chosen to be the guiding media. 2. The activities of group discussion and sharing should be truly done and be deep. 3. Must pay attention to the negative contingencies in the process of activity. 4. The course design can give consideration to diversified fields to do. 5. Finding many teachers to form a team to assist to observe. 6. Quantitative research can supplement qualitative research.
