Summary: | 碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 數位學習設計與管理學系研究所 === 99 === Classroom is the place where students learn and interact with each other. Using technology is considered as a way to improve the students’ interaction. Therefore, the goal of this study is to design and implement a multiple mice system to construct a more diverse learning environment in the classroom. In the environment, the students interact and compete with their peers on a large shared display by using multiple mice technology on one computer simultaneously. Multiple mice system has many potential applications. With proper design, it will be able to develop more suitable classroom learning activities. To facilitate students in performing the system, two types of tests and five modes were designed. The type of multiple choice include individual task competition mode and individual rush competition mode. The type of matching question include group non-competition mode, group rush competition mode, and group competition mode. Seventy-two first year high school students were involved in this study. The usability test indicated that the system was useable and students were very interested in using the system. The evaluation of different modes of preference showed that they prefer group activities and rush competition mode.
