This research applied self-structured questionnaire to analyze the results. Statistic methods including percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and one way analysis of variance were used to answer research questions. Findings of the study were addressed as the following: 1. Chiayi County kindergarten teachers' attitude and information needs of the kindergarten Guidance Program were in the medium level. 2. In the terms of attitude (1)In the aspect of “understanding about the Philosophy in assistance program”, there are significant differences among the number of class and different locations of kindergarten teachers. (2)In the aspect of “understanding about the team cooperation in the assistance program”, there are significant differences among the number of class, different locations, and ages of kindergarten teachers. (3)In the aspect of “understanding about the administrative supports in the assistance program”, there are significant differences among different locations of kindergarten teachers. (4)In the aspect of “understanding about the perceived professional knowledge”, there are significant differences among the number of class, ages, the class which the kindergarten teacher lead, the variations on the degree of involving the assistance program of kindergarten teachers. 3.In the terms of Information needs (1)In the aspect of “understanding about the announced year of the assistance program”, there are significant differences among the number of class, years of teaching, the record of formal schooling, and the variations on the degree of involving the assistance program of kindergarten teachers. (2)In the aspect of “understanding about the team cooperation in the assistance program”, there are significant differences among the number of class, different locations, and ages of involving the assistance program of kindergarten teachers. (3)In the aspect of “understanding about the way to announce the assistance program”, there are significant differences among the ages, post, years of teaching, the record of formal schooling of involving the assistance program of kindergarten teachers. Based on the findings, recommendations were made for the government authorities when they design training programs for kindergarten teachers to realize perceptions of Attitude and Information needs.
