It is a measurement technology, a news technology of non-contact optical testing, based on the use of semiconductor laser light and the image sensor (CCD), triangulation measurement method computing architecture of optoelectronic devices, with the target detected by the reflected points of light for detection. This is generated by the laser spot by way of image capture processing and image analysis of laser spot on the distance of the center of image. Through measurement, the relationship between pixel distance and actual distance is obtained. By following the relationship, the distance is calculated between the spot pixel and the center of the image, then converted into the height of the target by a degree of trigonmertric functions. Image sensor (CCD) are used as light detector for the images obtained. With LabVIEW software, a graphical editor and support data acquisition DAQ (Data Acquisition) to do image acquisition (Image Acquisition), analysis and calculation and other processing system. During the experiment, accurate image analysis are obtained by laser spot at different image height . This study focused on the system part of LabVIEW's programming, respectively, image acquisition, processing, analysis and error correction, to achieve the purpose of target altimeter. CCD image sensor capture the image and through calculation, the signal is then transmitted to the computer by USB interface, then analyzed with an output object height data. Discussion of feasibility and accuracy of the information from the various experiments are to provide as reference to future studies.
