This study tries to investigate the effects on vocational high school students’ academic achievements after information technology integrated into teaching and after school on-line tests. An experimental design was
used on 60 vocational high school students of 3rd grade in Taitung who are separated into control and experimental groups. The final exam in the first semester as the pretest, and the first exam in the second semester
of 98th school year, as the posttest, were adopted as instruments for analysis. During the pretest, both control and experimental group were taught in traditional teaching method. However, during the posttest, the
experimental group was taught in information technology integrated into teaching while the control group used the same method of teaching. At
last, a comparison of achievements of the students between the two different groups was obtained after the project. These data were analyzed by the SPSS software with statistical methods, descriptive statistics and t-test. The conclusions are summarized as follows:
1. In the pretest, the average grade of the control group showed statistically a better significance than the experimental group.
2. In the posttest, the experimental group showed statistically a better significance than the control group’s especially the low achievers.
Based on the conclusions of the study, suggestions are proposed for teachers to apply their information technology integrated into teaching.
Not only can it reach the effect of teaching but also can promote the academic achievements of low achievers in particular. In addition, the research and study of integrated into teaching should be held regularly.
Besides, the professional should cooperate with each other; meanwhile, the research time should be enlarged and samples should be extended.
