Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 會計學系企業高階管理 === 99 === Understanding of the competency content of stamping die engineer is a critical management issue for human resource management for senior managers in mold manufacturing industry, not only for junior engineer recruiting, but also for senior engineer positions on job training. This study aims to investigate the competence contents for both junior and senior stamping die engineers on the perspective of senior managers in the industry. A Delphi survey is conduct based on the questionnaire of “the capability standards of basic and intermediate courses for mould design and analysis engineers questionnaire” proposed by Kuo-Ming Wu (2003) to collect data from ten senior managers in mold industry. Analysis are conducted based on the averages and modes of competence items to compare the differences between junior and senior stamping die engineers to find out the critical content of on job training planning. The major findings are followed. (A) The key capabilities of junior engineers are: “Metrology”, “Mould Design” , “Computer-aided design(CAD) and manufacturing ”, “Principles of Nontraditional Machining”, “ Mechanical Drawing “ , “Factory Internship”. (B) The key capabilities of senior designers are: “Mould Design” , “Metrology” , “ Mechanical Drawing “ , “Factory Internship” , “Manufacturing Processes”. (C) “Factory Internship”, "Manufacturing" are both critical items for on job training to the junior engineers to improve their competitiveness for the position of senior engineer.
